The mental health field has been my passion throughout my life dating back to when I was a teenager. Through life experience and experiencing tough grief/loss I knew early on that I wanted to help people. I love getting to work with people of all ages and backgrounds to help them become the best versions of themselves and alleviate symptoms and stressors that they feel are holding them back from enjoying their life. I have been fortunate enough to work in a number of areas of mental health. I have worked in the schools, substance abuse facilities, psychiatric hospitals, IOP, crisis work, and private practice. I have lots of experience with children/youth, adults, families, and couples.
With great extensive experience spanning from dealing with personal grief/loss to navigating telehealth therapy to assisting individuals facing emotional distress, homelessness, severe mental illness, I bring a profound understanding of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, addiction, relationships and psychosis. My therapeutic approach is rooting in meeting clients where they are at, and assisting and guiding them through processing their experiences, struggles, and stressor, and setting attainable goals, and fostering progress towards therapeutic goals/objectives.
