I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) at Foresight. I received my Master’s of Science in Counseling with and emphasis in Family and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix in Sacramento California. I have experience working in outpatient therapy strengths based therapy & dual diagnosis therapy with individuals & groups, Adolescents, Adults and Seniors. I also have extensive experience working with families and couples. I have a background in Biblical Counseling, with over 40 years experience and I’m able to incorporate it into therapy upon request. I’ve worked with a school district providing child and adolescent therapy, including parenting and co-parenting. I worked for over 5 years in Adoption/Foster care services with County Government. I’m passionate about helping individuals, couples and families heal from trauma, including addiction, codependency and infidelity. I approach therapy from a client centered, unconditional positive regard and compassion free of judgment. I have experience working with children, teens, adults and seniors using interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, Art therapy, Play therapy and sand-tray from a strengths based, and mindfulness approaches as well as 12 step.
