Monika Kaniewska

I have been passionate about helping and supporting patients to promote health and fulfilling lives. I have worked with diverse populations of all ages with the specialty in gerontology. I have a vast experience in treating anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, stress management, depression, insomnia, and personal growth. I have received my Master in Nursing Science from University of Phoenix and Post-Master degree in Psychiatry from National University. I am nationally double board certified by ANCC, respectively to practice in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Practice. I have worked at Internal Medicine and Urgent Care settings. I treat each patient holistically addressing physical, emotional, mental, and social aspects of their lives to ensure optimal healing outcomes. My therapeutic approach is eclectic including cognitive behavioral , existential, and psychodynamic therapy, depending on the unique patient’s needs and their therapy goals. My main focus is to create safe and compassionate healing space, install hope, and empower each patient to uncover their strengths and to develop coping skills to create healthy, balanced, and meaningful lives they deserve to live.
