I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have experience working with adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I believe that therapy is most successful when it unfolds upon a foundation of trust, safety, and attunement between therapist and client. When this kind of therapeutic relationship is created, it becomes easier to look within and explore the parts of ourselves and our lives that feel painful and difficult. My intention is to understand and explore the needs and strengths of each client, and allow this to guide the work that we do together. I enjoy digging deep to help clients understand themselves better, and working to equip them with the tools to take this insight and self-awareness and use it to make meaningful and effective changes that improve their lives. Overall, my work is informed by mindfulness, self-compassion, attachment theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
