I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Foresight. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and minor in Asian American Studies from University of California, Berkeley. I went on to earn my Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s College of California. I have experience with children, youth, and families in the community mental health, school-based, and outpatient settings. My specialties include depression, anxiety, anger management, grief/loss, stress management, relationship issues, family of origin and family conflict, self-esteem, and trauma-related stressors. I have a passion to help individuals develop their sense of self and identity to motivate change. I come together with my clients to achieve their goals and assist individuals in their journey to self-empowerment. My approach to therapy comes from a person-centered perspective, providing unconditional positive regard, authenticity, and empathy. Other interventions and approaches include but are not limited to psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, solution focused brief, narrative, and cross-cultural therapies.
