I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Foresight. I received my master’s degree in social work with a specialty in Children, Youth & Families at Cal State University Dominguez Hills. I have experience working in outpatient, community-based and justice-involved mental health settings. I have a passion working with young and older adults in order to assist them in developing and implementing coping skills to manage and thrive during life transitions and needed change. My specialty include depression, anxiety, coping skills, interpersonal conflict and stress management. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed, person-centered perspective: focusing on genuineness, empathy, and helping clients connect their thoughts, feelings and actions. I aim to highlight client strengths and help to identify and create opportunities for growth. I have experience working with children, teenagers, young adults, older adults by utilizing interventions from cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered, and eclectic practices.
