I (she/her) am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. My specialties include people in the midst of life transitions, including young adults and adolescents, as well as adults and children struggling with the effects of trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have proved treatment in private practice and many community mental health settings, including residential treatment. In addition, I have supervised and trained other therapists for the past several years. I use evidence based interventions including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT), and mindfulness to help clients develop coping skills and a better understanding of relationships and work towards achieving life goals. In a safe, non-judgmental space, I take a humble and curious approach to the diverse cultural and gender experiences of my clients, so they can explore their unique feelings, experiences, and obstacles. Starting therapy takes courage, and I will support and guide you in an understanding and compassionate manner to a better understanding of your life, empowering you to create new positive, healthy life habits on this transformational journey.
