Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
LIC NO. 130693
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my Master’s at Loyola Marymount University in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis in Clinical Art Therapy. I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, families and young adults in outpatient, community-based, medical, and school-based mental health settings. As a psychotherapist, I am welcoming, compassionate, supportive and curious. I strive to create a trusting therapeutic relationship where you can feel safe, accepted, be your authentic self and connect to your innate wisdom. I will collaborate with you, cheer you on and challenge you. Although I strive for individualized client care, I may integrate principles of humanistic, solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, existential, and art therapy. As an art therapist, I would like you to know that you have the option to engage in art therapy, where no experience with art is needed. Art therapy integrates traditional psychotherapy methods with art making to help you process difficult feelings while integrating the body and mind.
