I am a passionate clinician who adores supporting clients and families through a process of change and growth. As a mother myself, I especially love supporting parents through each aspect of the intense work of parenting – including pregnancy, co-parenting, single parenting, and divorce-related issues. I love supporting women with exploring their female identities and managing issues related to this and all aspects of their intersectional identities. In addition, I also have a history of study and therapeutic work with those who are struggling with anxiety, PTSD, depression, suicidal ideation, and exploring racial identity. My background includes a long history within the dance community, receiving my B.A. in Dance from the University of Oregon. I earned my M.A. in Counseling Psychology with a Specialization in Somatic Psychology at The California Institute of Integral Studies before diving into clinical work. In graduate school I studied psychodynamic therapy, somatic therapies, Gestalt, and dance therapy – I love finding ways of integrating each of these bodily approaches into my therapeutic work. I have spent the last six years working at Seneca Family of Agencies working within MediCal based therapy systems – this included school-based work with children (0-16), parent counseling, and family therapy. I love supporting clients in their process towards living richer lives through managing the various stresses that arise in all aspects of life. I use a collaborative approach to support clients from exactly where they are starting from. I utilize an eclectic mix of therapeutic styles with flexibility to allow for development and growth. I find it is important to face and embrace our emotional selves, allowing ourselves to be fully authentic to cultivate this growth. I believe allowing our eccentricities into our internal world, exploring each aspect of what makes us who we are provides this path towards a more integrated and expansive future.
