I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Los Angeles with over 20 years of experience working in children’s, psychiatric, medical, and geriatric social work. I have worked with children, young adults, adults, and older adult clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, maintenance of recovery from drug and alcohol abuse/dependence, caregiver role strain, life transitions, low self-esteem, grief and loss, and adjustment issues. I also specialize in assisting spousal and familial caregivers whose loved ones are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease, and/or other dementias. My counseling style is warm, interactive, and infused with some humor to help with the healing process. I believe in treating everyone with respect, empathy, objectivity and with an open mind. My approach utilizes cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment, and mindfulness therapies. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
