Bahareh Shayegan

Hello! My name is Bahareh Shayegan and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my master’s degree in counseling psychology from California Lutheran University. I have worked in the mental health field for more than a decade and have worked in various settings with various populations. I’m passionate about working with children, teens, young adults and women as well as different marginalized groups including LGBTQIA, immigrants, people of color, highly sensitive people and neurodivergent populations. I love working with folks struggling with mood issues, adjustment issues, grief, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, attachment issues, ADHD, and more. I use various modalities based on my client’s needs including CBT, DBT, experiential, elements of psychodynamic and more. I also speak Farsi. In my spare time I enjoy dancing, drawing, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
