Alexis Flynn, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker
LIC NO. 86666

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over six years providing psychotherapy to transitional aged youth and adults in both an outpatient and hospital setting. I believe that the key to successful therapy is the relationship between the therapist and client. Using a client-centered approach, I  embody an empathetic, non-judgmental, and trustworthy stance with the goal of creating a safe and supportive environment to explore new insights, strengths, and areas of growth. For me, it is a privilege to be allowed to listen to someone’s story and witness their journey towards self-healing. I use an integrative approach to therapy that draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, solution-focused, and mindfulness meditation. I have special interest in issues related to depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, sexual trauma, and emotional dysregulation. If any of this resonates with you, please contact me to set up an appointment. Therapy could be the tool to help you live a more present and purposeful life.
