At Foresight, the Business Development Associate  supports the Business Development Lead by executing tasks related to growing and maintaining the organization’s referral network and business. This role focuses on building relationships with referral sources and ensuring that referred clients receive timely and appropriate care. The Business Development Associate plays a critical role in supporting the overall business development strategy and enhancing client acquisition efforts

As a Business Development Associate, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Business Development Lead to implement strategies for increasing referrals and expanding the organization’s network.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners and key stakeholders through regular engagement and quality assurance initiatives. Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts; be responsive, problem solve issues, and escalate timely as appropriate.
  • Manage the day-to-day lead process, ensuring timely communication with referral sources and internal teams for the assigned territory. Follow up on leads, gather necessary information, and coordinate the scheduling of referral source meetings.
  • Utilize CRM tools to automate and streamline outreach processes, ensuring consistent and personalized communications. Log all contacts and activities into the CRM for continuity and tracking. 
  • Conduct outreach to potential referral partners through the phone (including cold calls), email, LinkedIn, in-person visits and more across your assigned territory, ensuring you hit weekly and monthly goals. 
  • Organize and coordinate community outreach events and activities, ensuring appropriate representation and effective messaging. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote FMH’s services. 
  • Identify and maintain Foresight presence on local databases and email chains.
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership as necessary to help with account development.
  • As needed, collaborate with the communications department to develop compelling marketing materials, including flyers and promotional content. Ensure alignment of materials with brand guidelines and messaging strategies.
  • Partner with local leaders to understand market dynamics, identify outreach opportunities and execute on collaborative growth plans. 
  • Travel 50% to 75% – must have a reliable vehicle and proof of insurance for in-person meetings and community events within a designated territory

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or healthcare administration is preferred
  • 3+ years of successful experience developing strategic partnerships with provider organizations to drive growth. Experience in behavioral health or substance abuse a plus.
  • Residence in CA, preferably in the Los Angeles area
  • Experience calling on managers, executives, and discharge decision makers within all sized organizations
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Highly energetic and motivated, with strong attention to detail
  • A passion for increasing access to mental health care
  • Exceptional presentation, public speaking and communication skills 
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required; proven ability to to work well across multiple disciplines within an organization
  • Proficient in problem solving skills and addressing client needs
  • Strong computer skills including Google Suite and CRM software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

What We Offer:

  • Full-time, exempt position with a base salary of $66,500 and total earning potential of up to $75,000 with incentive opportunity
